HOW TO RENEW STUDENT VISA IN SPAIN

Many people believe that renewing a student residence permit in Spain is an easy process, however, most rejections we see, are due to a lack of awareness of the deadlines and limitations for renewals.

A common mistake is requesting an extension to study a different course unrelated to your previous studies. In this case, you should apply, if it is possible, for an initial permit within the legal timeframe.

Another mistake, especially for Spanish language students, is submitting an extension request with only the certificate of completion of the language academy course but without providing the official DELE or SIELE language proficiency certificate.
